Lens Compatability

I have a Canon EOS 500N (SLR) film camera with two interchangeable lenses (20-80mm and 80-200mm)

If I buy a canon DSLR, will those lenses fit and will they be suitable for, let's say, the EOS 1100D?

I would welcome some advice.

Hi Tony, did you mean Canon EOS 500D? And yes, both of the lenses will fit to all Canon non-full frame SLR, such as the Canon Rebels and EOS 60D excluding the Canon pro SLR line-ups (the Mark series). Best regards...

Hi if they are ef mount lenses then they will fit I am not sure about auto focus but they can be used with manual focus
