Best SD card choice for Nikon d40x?

Hi all.

I need to go out at the weekend to get a SDHC card for my D40X.

What i would be grateful for is advice on which will be the best make, speed etc.

I think i will stick with max of 8 gig as i am sure it will be big enough and i dont know the max size the camera will take or the max speed for that matter.

I take mainly landscapes and use ether lexar or sandisk speed 6 or higher in my d60 .Your d40 should take a hc card no problem but i would check the manual before you buy. Hope this helps ...graham

I'd also recommend ensuring the camera has the latest firmware installed by heading to the Nikon website. Without it you may find certain restrictions are in place and the camera will be unable to read the card to the full capacity.
