Canon - Dropping 550D??

Hi,

Now that Canon have announced the 600D, are they planning to drop the 550D? From what I can see, the 550D is the better deal, the 600D only has a 'twist' screen and more shots per battery charge??

Canon have confirmed they are no longer making the 550D, so I have bought one!!

More 'experience' to come.
