monopod

Hi Everyone, can anyone please give me advice on monopods? I am using my son's Velbon tripod which is a gem but if I walk too far I find it heavy to carry, so I thought I would get myself a monopod. many thanks, travelbug

Have a look at the Manfrotto carbon fibre monopods.

Very light, very strong... but a bit expensive.

Another idea is that some monopods come as a telescopic walking stick that you can fix your camera to.
