Hi
I am thinking of upgrading from my Canon 40D to a full frame camera. I would like the lowlight the capability and extra detail these cameras can generate .I have been reading about the Canon 5D mark11 and the Nikon D700 and have a few questions which may aid my decision.
Regarding the D700, would the relatively small 12 M/Pixels of the sensor still produce images that would challenge the 5D and would the large file sizes of the Canon cause me problems regarding storage downloading etc . Would I have to continually have to reduce the file sizes for convenience?

Hi there was an article in the magazine a couple of issues ago 5d vrs 7d it was an intersting read. Have you any lenses for your canon as this may steer you down the canon path. I would uggest reading the article.

Thank's for your reply ,yes I read that article and I would choose the 5D over the APS-C sensor of the 7D . But the Nikon D700 is also full frame and a harder decision to make ,cheers .
