Second hand recommendations (DSLR)

Hi there.

Photography has always been a great interest to me so I thought it's about time I went and got a cheap DSLR to get started. The second hand reason being for the fact if im both **** and dislike the whole idea as a result I havent lost myself too much money.

Not really sure what else to put other than what would you recommend for the under £300 price range.
I have no clue about lenses etc, all I can say is that the camera will be used to take still's & action pictures of various motorsports around the place. This whilst being utilised for scenery shot's & various other styles.

Hi -lee- Nikon have just launched the d3100 you may get the older model the d3000 for around £300 . It comes with a 18 to 55 kit lens

Thanks, will definately have a look into some reviews on that.

Got hold of the november issue due to the £500 test & it seems the Panasonic G10 stands out in that price range.
I will read reviews on both it seems then decide upon one of them unless someone can suggest anything better.
