Hi,

Ive had my sony DSLR for 14 moths or so and now the flash has become intermittent. it will sometimes flash fully and other times not flash at all. does anyone know where i can get a flash bulb for the camera? ive tried a general search on google and ebay but no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Graham

What do you mean by a "flash bulb" ?

Do you mean a bulb to replace the one in the camera, or a flash gun that attaches to your camera?

Sorry, i mean the flash bulb in the camera itself.

I dont think youll be able to find one, also it would probably void your cameras warrenty if you were try and change it...
Sony do however, make a very small flash (hvl-f20am) which can also bounce the light off ceilings to create a much smoother, shadowless light, and it can also be picked up from as little as 100 :)

I purchased a sony flashgun about 7 months ago and havent used the in-built flash since ;)

The camera is just out of warranty so i just need to see if anyone knows where i can find one from. Im looking to sell on the camera after fixing it so i would like to replace the existing flash bulb.

You open your flash? Not bad, you can go to the after-sale service
