Compact camera with remote control

Hello

I used to have an Olympus compact digital camera that came with a little infra red remote control which I found very useful. This camera is now broken and wanted to get a new compact camera also with a remote control. I have looked at several websites, Jessops, PC World, Comet, Argos, etc and I couldn't find one that mentioned it came with a remote control in any of the specifications or features.

I did see however stores selling just the remote controls, and was wondering if now do you have to buy a camera and by a remote control seperate? or are there still cameras that come with them? If so, are there any models people can recommend?
