View Full Version : The London Eye, whats it like for photography?
Hi,
I will be going to London soon and will be taking my DSLR which I purchased very recently. I enjoy photographing London and want to know what experiences people have had photographing from the London Eye. I presume it offers a good view but is the glass clean enough to photograph through?
PKW
The glass is very reflective, you'll have to go right up close against it to cut out most of the reflections
The glass is normally quite clean.
Here are some example photos from my last trip on there:

What time of day are you booked in for?
The time (and the weather of course) makes a huge difference to the shots. The photos in the link were taken in the middle of the afternoon. This photo was taken in the evening, which is my favourite time to go on the Eye.
