Read our review on the Permajet Oyster range of papers, with an instant-dry resin coat.

If you want to show off your images to their best, then the inkjet paper you choose can make a massive difference to the end result, with your choice of media affecting detail, colour and longevity.
Permajet's Oyster range of papers is an instant-dry resin coated paper that's finished with a UV protected microporous supercoat which Permajet claim gives the paper a high degree of water and fade resistance. The paper is available in a range of different sizes, from 6x4in through to A2, as well as wide rolls.
The paper has a pearl/semi-gloss finish and out of the box, has a proper photographic feel, aided by its 271gsm weight. Compatible with either Dye or Pigment inkjet printers, we ran some prints through our Epson R2880 inkjet printer.
Results are very impressive - colours are faithful with just enough punch, while detail is strong. Monochrome images are nice and neutral, with smooth graduations in the tonal range.
Verdict
This is a lovely, semi-gloss paper that won't break the bank. Definitely worth trying out
