it seems that you are biast against canon in favour of nikon, all other reviews i've read favours the canon over the nikon. i'me trying to pick the best 16-35 lens, but it is difficult with all the conflicting reviews.

I have this lens, it is very good but at the widest setting there is some softness sometimes in the periphery of the image. Being so wide it really is useful - I take a lot at 16mm.

Why have you reviewed a second hand lens but quoted the price of a new one? If you are going to review a used lens you should at least tell the readers its age, date of manufacture.
