This lightweight and basic cube offers a super solution with a removable front door which incorporates a zip for shooting shiny subjects.
However, the low price reflects the low-cost materials. Lighter fabric combined with a thin steel rim fail to match up to the quality of the other tents.
The fabric is also quite loose, resulting in wrinkles on the base of the tent, though a background skirting does help to alleviate this.
On a positive note, the light steel rims collapse easily and the unit folds up small, making this a good portable option
Verdict
Small and lightweight, the Photolight is usable but its low price reflects its quality
