Olympus E-520 review

Value For Money

Worth the Extra Expense

If you're in the market for a Four
Thirds DSLR it’s hard to dispute the quality offered by the E-520.
While it's primary draw is undoubtedly the in-camera Image
Stabilisation, there are several other factors that justify its price
premium over the Olympus E-420, such as its better handling, more robust feel,
and easier to access control layout. Competitors at this price point
that may also be worth investigating include the Sony Alpha 350 and
Canon 450D. Nikon's D60 is another option and also cheaper. However, if
Four Thirds is your thing then the E-520 is certainly worth the extra
money over the Olympus E-420 if you can afford it.
