Nikon D40x review
Value For Money
Compared to the D40, Nikon’s D40x isn’t bad value, with an additional £150 getting you a slightly more robust shutter and an extra 4 million pixels. It also offers good value alongside the D80 as you get the same pixel count and a generally similar spec – at least in terms of photographic controls – with money to spare. However, Samsung’s GX10 isn’t that much more expensive.

Respected Sir, i chanced upon ur site searchg for nikon d5000 review... WITH DUE RESPECT...i beg to differ with ur review of nikon d40x...HOW all and most experts ignore the resolution of d40x which is matched only by nikon d300 and higher.THE photos are much contrast and colour range is great.NIKON D40 CANNOT MATCH D40X. price is one consideration BUT we just can't ignore the photo quality to price. NIKON D40X IS UNMATCHED BY PHOTO QUALITY FOR NEXT FIVE YEARS..... I AM CONSTRAINT TO SAY YOUR REVIEWER EITHER HAVE NO EYE FOR COLOUR AND RESOLUTION OR WRITING WITHOUT SEEING THE PHOTOS.
