Canon EOS 400D review (Digital Rebel XTi)
Value For Money
Well-Rounded Package
The latest round of cameras are all selling at the £600-£700 mark, and the Canon EOS 400D fits well into this price bracket. This is a new sector really – positioned between entry-level models like the Nikon D50 and prosumer models such as the EOS 30D or Nikon D200, even though this is Canon’s entry-level model. However, the build, design and features all add up to a well-rounded package that’s worth every penny.

I have now had my 400D for nearly a year ,previous to that camera i had / still have my eos 300v so all the main body parts and controls are very similar and just as easy to use. the 400 D is the best camera i have owned to date, I get excelent results evey time i use it, my only complaint is the cheap and nasty 18 - 55mm lens that comes with it lucky for me i still have a selection of high quality EF lens's that fit, I am confused with your pricing of the camera which retails in argos, currys etc at round about £400 - £450
