Does any of these Digital SLR's offer a macro system? It's not mentioned in any of the literature I've seen.

Got this camera as a replacement for my KonicaMinolta 5D. Build quality is not as good as the 5D. There as some subtle differences, but these were to be expected. The A450 meets all of my specifications of a still camera. If I need to record vedeos, then I will buy a camcorder. All in all, I am very pleased with my choice.
