Nice review, interesting camera. Its a shame Sigma wont improve the quality of video their cameras can capture. Judging by the sample pictures Sigma cameras like this one with their interesting sensor would make great video , surely Sigma should pull up its socks in the video department otherwise their cameras will look outdated in their specification; otherwisepicture quality= impressive!.

if you want to make videos buy a video camera - I use sigma and applaud there stance on not have HD ... as it is designed as a still Camera for photographers. Not all camera makers are sheep following a naff trend . . . But what I would like to see is something like a 32meg SSD!

Yet another potentially useful camera rendered useless to many of us by lack of a even a rudimentary viewfinder.

Sigma have a range of accessories including a viewfinder which is bigger and clearer than many viewfinders found on more consumer oriented compacts. Plus a vote from me for keeping cameras like this free of bling.
