GE X5 Review

I think the sample shots are just great. Anyhow, I am planning to buy this today and I appreciate the well rounded reviews I got. In the end, it doesnt matter what type of bows and arrows were used, it's all in hunter taking it. :P

I saw this cam yesterday at the mall. Well, now I am thinking if I would purchase this one when my money comes. Im still researching for some feedbacks about this one! :)

I just bought this. On close subjects, within 12' the focus is fine. I've had unpredictable results on longer distances. My old 4MP made up for the lower resolution by having high quality glass. I believe the lens here to be a little too wide as straight lines curve at the edges of pictures. Not bad for

I bought one of these a week ago, took nearly 100 photos with it, not overly impressed with the clarity and definition of the photograph. it's easy to use, zoom seems ok and close up isn't bad. I paid over the odds for my camera and feel ripped off

I have the camera for over a week now. Stabilizer doesn't really work good. 60% of my shots are not clear which is so upsetting. It's good if you carefully take pictures. I still need to adjust myself and learn the features so to make good results on my shots. It's cheap though not bulky. I even bring it with me everyday and almost all the time. I generally like it.

Had much trouble with focus in zoom indoors with good light.

just got one last week, so far so good (found photo quality quite good!). if i was going to pick a fault, it would be the un-clear lcd display.

i bought it last night... it was really great

Best camera I have bought for it's price. Have no regrets so far. And when batteries run low, it's so easy to pick up new ones at any convenience store. Good for long trips outside.

Seen the GE X5 for £60 in ASDA today. Good value for an ok camera.

bought the last one in asda,middlebrook. was actually the demo model so i got an extra 10% off. excellent value for 54 quid

what country manufactured this camera?

is it still only 77 pounds and 60 at asda?

Got mine last week for £60 at Asda. Plus £7 for a 4Gb memory card and £9 for a case. £76 all tiold and a bargain in my view!

its a great camera but it does have a few problems, amazing quality though on the other hand i bought one a few months back, i only had it for a few weeks but if you want to see image quality check out my flicr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/62632483@N03/ besides the memory card problem its a amazing over all camera for £77!! my rating 7/10! :)

I sometimes have a problem with some pics. Unable to view, said it had a memory fault (usually when card is nearly full)and just recently the camera will not shut off due to "lens obstruction". However quality of the pics is very good and camera easy to use.

Mike W. You took some great pics with this camera. Do you think the samples on this site were set on auto to produce lacklustre photo's as it's a clone of a Fuji, and fuji want you to buy Fuji not Ge if you get my drift?

i have had this cam for 6 months and i love it the only problem i had was that it takes AA but i fixed that by buying 4 rechargable AA 9/10 you can see my pic on the www.365project.org/sophiemaree

I bought this Camera from a local camera specialist who was selling it as a low price alternative to some Japanese rivals.I have found it most excellent to record a couple of cruise holidays i recently went on.Combined with a SD HC card i have been able to take a variety of shots which would make a pro proud!I mainly use auto and manual scene modes for museum,night and behind glass shots.I have found rechargable batteries need regular charging and don't last long so a spare set would be a good idea.This is a very compact camera with good clear screen or view finder if you prefer,recommended!
