Review of the Lowepro Cirrus TLZ 15
|Pros:||Shock-absorbent, and detachable shoulder strap means you can wear it lots of different ways|
|Cons:||Carrying your kit holster style isn't everyone's cup of tea|
Model: Cirrus TLZ 15
Camera bags are all well and good when you’ve got a load of gear to carry around, but what if you’ve only got a DSLR and standard lens? The days of the ever ready case are long gone, but the next best thing is the camera holster.
The Lowepro Cirrus range is constructed from a shock-absorbent, closed-foam padded interior to protect the camera from bumps. This is combined with a brushed-tricot lining to protect the camera, lens and LCD from scratches. It even manages to fit in a small pocket for memory cards and spares batteries. The exterior is waterproof and abrasion resistant, and has a belt hoop, a small top handle and a detachable shoulder strap so you can carry it any way you want.
While carrying a camera like a gunslinger may not be everyone’s cup of tea, the arrangement is useful if you’re an outdoor snapper. But the main advantage of this holster model is that its design keeps your hands free to do other things.
Great bag if you need to have your hands free for shooting or doing other outdoorsy activities
