This is the 28th incarnation of the Bureau of Freelance Photographers’ indispensable guide, which lists magazines, newspapers, book publishers, calendar and card companies, picture agencies and pretty much anyone who buys photography in the UK. Magazines are divided by subject area and each listing includes a sentence on what they’re looking for as well as contact details. It’s purely a textbook, there are no photos – the authors have devoted 100% of their energy, and the book’s space, to information. Since the cost of the book would be more than recovered with just one sale there’s no excuse not to invest in a copy. And while you’re at it you should probably join the BFP too.
