Review of the Wacom Graphire 4 Studio XL

RRP: £175 www.wacom.com The Graphire 4 Studio XL is one of the best Wacom tablets we’ve seen. It has been redesigned with a silver metallic finish and a conveniently placed pen holder. A pair of fast access buttons have been added which can be programmed to perform frequent tasks such as switching tools. There is also a scroll wheel to allow on-screen scrolling or zooming. Comfortable to hold, the pen now has a pair of buttons that replicate right- and double-click commands. A ‘rubber’ at the top of the pen can be used as an eraser. The Studio version contains additional software on top of the standard version. Overall, the Graphire 4 is high quality, easy to use and a more natural way of working with images than a mouse.
