Review of the Samsung SPP2040 Photo Printer

The SPP2040 is an attractive and well-built printer. With dimensions of 180x136x66mm it is very small – however, once you attach the paper tray and allow room for the paper to pass through at the back, it becomes clear you need to allow for (at least) double the space on your desk. The SPP2040 uses a dye-sublimation print method, in which the paper passes back and forth as different colours are applied. You can print directly from a PictBridge-compatible camera, seven different types of memory card using two slots at the front, a computer, or directly from a mobile phone with an optional Bluetooth adaptor.
