Review of the Ricoh Caplio R3

Very few cameras can boast of a focal-length range as useful as this one, and not one has done it in a body this small. Ricoh is just plain showing off by adding in a vibration-reduction system (using a moving CCD, à la Konica Minolta) and still keeping the body just an inch thick. There may be optical power here, but the specification is matched to the body shape rather than to the lens….
