Review of the Olympus E-330

Olympus E-330

Olympus E-330
Olympus continues to push its FourThirds system, with the fourth camera in the line-up.

The E-330 follows the innovative design of the E-300, which allows Olympus to play with the form of what a digital camera could be and introduce new and unique features.

This new model, for example, has several features never seen before on digital SLRs, or traditional SLRs come to that. Not least is a live-view monitor; this is not quite a world first, as Fujifilm has one on the Finepix S3Pro, but the Olympus one is colour and is applied to an adjustable hinge for easy viewing.

It also incorporates a new sensor not previously seen on a camera, of which more anon.
