Review of the Lexmark P915

Lexmark P915

Lexmark P915
www.lexmark.co.uk Lexmark easily rates as the most improved photo printer manufacturer over the past couple of years and the P915 is evidence of this. Though lightly constructed, it looks like a good-quality product and print quality is not bad, much improved on previous Lexmarks. There’s a 2.5in LCD monitor screen, through which you can select and make simple edits to photos on memory cards. A thumbnail viewer is absent, making ploughing through numerous images a chore. Print quality is not bad, with good, bright and mainly accurate colours, though grey tones had a touch of green about them. At just under 8 minutes, using best quality photo settings, our A4 borderless test print wasn’t quite the slowest, but the wait remains too long. Lexmark’s novel blend of pigment and dye-based inks for photo printing ensures good print life, but beware of photo prints that take a long time to dry.
