Review of the Casio EX-Z1000

Casio EX-Z1000

Casio EX-Z1000
www.exilim.co.uk The eye-grabbing spec detail is the 10.37MP 1/1.8inch CCD. This gives an image resolution of 3648 x 2736 pixels, or enough of the square stuff to print 18 x 13.5in prints. Its 3x zoom is bog-standard, and it looks from the outside to be very simple. However, under this sleek, stainless steel exterior, beats an incredibly sophisticated interior: nine-point AF with macro down to 6cm, three metering modes, ISO up to 400, movie shooting at 640x480pixels and at a UK-friendly 25fps. You can choose to have the date imprinted on a picture, and change a wrongly set date in the EXIF data, as well as revive older shots with a saturation boost and do some limited movie editing.
